In 2021, I was a part of the Takeoff Institute Fellowship program. For my final project, I researched the relationship between Black teens and dropping out of public schools. From my research, I came up with some of the disparities between the Black Youth and the education system. Also, I provided some strategies on how public schools can get Black youth to return to school.
